    – Legendary musician Oliver Mtukudzi will be holding a Reimbursement Show at Liquids Night Club in Masvingo to compensate his fans for a failed performance on December 22, 2015.
Mtukudzi failed to turn up for the show causing an almost nasty situation at the night club when hundreds of fans who had paid $10 each to get in turned rowdy accusing management for having taken them for a ride.
However, Mtukudzi's manager, Sam Mataure explained the situation in a telephone interview with The Mirror and said that the show flopped because the superstar's plane was delayed in South Africa making it impossible for the musician to drive down to Masvingo late at night.
"Mtukudzi's plane was delayed in South Africa and we only landed at Harare International Airport at 12 midnight making it impossible for us to drive down to Masvingo and hold a show the same night.
"We are planning to have another show in Masvingo and the dates will be announced soon. We really want to apologise to our fans for what happened.
"Please send me your number so that we will communicate with you when we are coming to Masvingo.
"There is nothing behind this failed show except that Mtukudzi needed to rest. We will have a gig as an apology to our fans in Masvingo this year," he said.
The Mirror is told that those who had tickets for the show are going to be allowed into the March Show at half the price which is $5.
Fans had travelled from as far as Chiredzi and Zvishavane to attend the show.
Revai Tapambwa, the manager at Liquids also made an apology to the night club patrons and fans for the flopped show.
"Liquids management would like to apologise to Masvingo fans for the failed show. We are happy that you were able to hear the reasons for the failure of the show from Mtukudzi's manager himself. Tickets for the last show remain valid for the next show," said Tapambwa.news
