    UFIC Masvingo in clean-up campaign

    MASVINGO-Hundreds of United Family International Church (UFIC) members in church regalia flooded the streets of Masvingo for the month of June clean up campaign.
    The clean up was done from Hebert Chitepo Street, Rekayi Tangwena to downtown bus terminus near Metro Peech Wholesale and was led by the UFIC Overseer for Masvingo, Pastor Joseph Muzhuzha.
    “We are a God fearing family. Our vision is to build a Godly society of all people. Indeed, we thank the organisers of this event for giving us this platform to fulfil part our Father Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa`s vision,” said Pastor Muzhuzha during the clean up campaign.
    EMA provincial manager for Masvingo, Milton Muusha commended UFIC members’ desire for a clean city after heeding President Mnangangwa’s call for national clean up on the first Friday of each month since December last year.
    “We are proud of our faith based organizations as they are taking the President’s call very seriously. Last month it the Apostolic Faith Mission and this time around it is UFIC, keep the fire burning for a clean environment,” said Muusha.
    On 5 December 2018 President Emmerson Mnangagwa declared the first Friday of each calendar month, the National Environment Cleaning Day in a bid to ensure that the country has sustainable environment management and waste disposal systems.
