    Mwenezi man steals R30 000 from his SA boss


    MWENEZI- A Mwenezi man has appeared before Magistrate Mandhlenkosi Ndhlovu facing charges of stealing goods  worthy R30 000 from his employer in Limpopo, South Africa.
    He allegedly loaded them in a truck and sold them in Zimbabwe.
    Brighton Makurane (34) who was employed as a herdboy by Masehela Kweva (50) of Erasmus Farm, Mopane, Limpopo pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 10 months. Six months were set aside on condition that he did not commit a similar crime for five years. The remaining 4 months were also set aside on condition that he restitutes the complainant before May 24, 2019.
    It is the State case that on April 7, 2019, Makurane unlawfully took four beds, three aluminum sliding doors, one aluminum window frame and one aluminum door from Kwela’s homestead.
    The accused loaded the property into a truck and took them into Zimbabwe where he sold them to Fortune Hungwe of Village 8 Rennet, Mwenezi.
