    Man steals $900 worth of goods at Murambinda


    BUHERA -A man from Rusape has been remanded in custody after he allegedly stole $900 worth of goods from Munatsi Shop  at Murambinda Growth Point.
    Magistrate Dennis Mangosi remanded Innocent Moriwa in custody to May 10 because he is a flight risk. His accomplice Maxwell Makwanya is at large and the court was told that Moriwa has pending cases of a similar nature.
    Moriwa is of Village 3 Workfield, Rusape.
    It is the State case that on April 23, 2019 at Munatsi Shops, in Murambinda, Moriwa unlawfully entered Cleoparton Murwira’s premises and stole numerous items including cooking oil, sugar, rice, flour, dovi, steri milk, macaroni, matemba, biscuits, matches, blue pens, surf, boom paste, bath soaps, colgate and vaseline.
    The accused was found in possession of some of the stolen goods and was arrested while selling matemba. The value of recovered goods is $72 only.
