    Charles Wrath dominates inaugural Zone 12 games

    Zvavamwe standing with the best performers of the day
     Nqobile Ncube of Impali and Shalom Shoko of Charles Wrath.
    Both bagged in 3 gold medals each.

    SHURUGWI - Charles Wrath Primary School dominated the inaugural zone 12 games held at Impali Primary School last Friday, scooping 26 gold, 22 silver and 8 bronze medals.
    Charles Wrath was tailed by Implali Primary which came second, Chironde in third position and Selukwe Peak in fourth.
    Impali bagged 24 gold, 26 silver and 8 bronze medals while Chironde Primary harvested 12 gold, 17 silver and 19 bronze medals. Selukwe Peak walked away with 10 gold, 5 silver and 13 bronze medals.
    Mutevekwi Primary could not make it to the games
    Matildah Zvavamwe the head of Selukwe Peak Primary school and zone 12 chairperson said that zone 12 has been created out of Zone 8.
    “This is our first time meeting as zone 12. The smaller group that we have become means we have enough time to attend to and nurture talent,” said Zvavamwe.
    Zvavamwe added that the zone had a lot of talent and it will be dominating the district in terms of sports and academics.
