    State of the art Gym opens in Shurugwi

    SHURUGWI - Former body building champion Chrispen Tivainone has opened a state of the art gym at Mzansi Night Club in Shurugwi, the first of its kind in the district.
    The gym which is called Olympians Gym was opened on February 1, 2019
    Tivainone has several accolades to himself including coming up fifth in the Mr Zim 2017 light weight competition, former Mr Mkoba, 2nd runner-up Mr Mtapa and has participated  in many more competitions.
    He told The Mirror that his aim for the gym is to allow people of Shurugwi to have access to facilities that promote a healthy lifestyle.
    “We used to go to Gweru for workouts and this was not sustainable hence we have opened a gym here,” said Tivainone.
    He said it was a struggle for him to open the place and thanked several people including Shurugwi ZB Bank branch manager Mtandazo Dube and Joseph Chitsa for their support.
