    JSC appoints 9 new magistrate for Masvingo Province
    MASVINGO-The Judiciary Services Commission (JSC) has appointed nine new magistrates in Masvingo in all the seven administrative districts of the Province recently to expedite trial of cases and clear backlogs which have been dogging the courts for a long time.
    Chivi, Zaka, Mwenezi, Bikita and Gutu courts which had one Resident Magistrate each now have two.
    “I can confirm that we have deployed new magistrates throughout the country to beef up the system and finalise cases expeditiously, I advise you to send a fax for more information,” said the Chief Magistrate, Mishrod Guvamombe when contacted on the phone.
    At the Masvingo Magistrate Courts three more magistrates were added, Candice Tsungai Kasere, Rufaro Portia Mangwiro and Malinga Mbonisi Ndhlovu making a total of seven including the Regional Magistrate, in Chiredzi, Regis Mawarire replaces Tafadzwa Mhlanga who was appointed Resident Magistrate in Chivhu.
    At the Zaka Court Florence Nago will now be assisted by Simbarashe Gundani, at Chivi Takawira Mugabe has been seconded together with Perseverance Mukumba, at Bikita Caroline Tafira will be assisted by Calisto Mutema, while at Mwenezi Honest Musiwa will be assisted by Mandlenkosi Ndhlovu.
    At the Gutu Magistrate Courts Alvine Mubvakure has been appointed to assist Victor Mohamadi. 
    Other appointments in the southern region are:

    Mashavira Sharon
    Munemo Rumbidzai
    Machiridza Helga Tatenda
    Chihera Tinotenda
    Panavanhu Michelle Rufaro

    Nyathi Lerato
    Ncube Nkosinomusa
    Nyathi Mthokozisi
    khumalo Eminent Vicky
    Ndlovu Mary-gold

    Manhimbi Priscah
    Nembaware Joshua
    Manyika Gift Kudzanai
    Munyaradzi Misheck Brian
    Marutya Constance
    Kuhudzai Glymax

    Ndlovu Hilary
    Dube Beaulity
    Murandu Progress
    Munjere loice
    Gurajena Thomas
    Zinyemba Kudzai Faith

    The above were deployed in the above provinces in order to fill the gaps which had been created by the freeze on recruitment by the Government. The additional magistrate will augment the other magistrates already at the various stations. This will improve efficiency in our justice delivery.//News
