Ward 19 Councillor Bothwell Chipangura is one of the victims after nine houses in Chipangura and Muzadzi Villages, Chief Chivese’s area had their roofs blown off.
Chikomba District Administrator (DA) Michael Mariga confirmed the incidents.
“One of the victims lost a wheel chair in the mishap but Chikomba West legislator Dr John Mangwiro came to his rescue and donated another one to him.  We are appealing for assistance from well- wishers because the people lost clothes and food,” said Mariga.
Chikomba Rural District Council acting Chief Executive Officer Bullen Chiwara said the council had mobilised resources to repair the damaged clinic and school.
