    UFIC pastor shakes Zvishavane

Apostle Simbarashe Duncan and wife Rejoice Duncan

ZVISHAVANE - A United Family International Church Pastor has shaken the small mining town of Zvishavane as he is attracting hundreds of people to his church. Word has it that a minimum of 30 converts join the church every Sunday. Apostle Simbarashe Duncan has stolen the hearts of many through his deep revelations when preaching and teaching the word of God. Healing and deliverance miracles have become common at Kandodo Hall where UFIC congregants gather for their services. The man of the cloth has a heart for God's people; this has seen him conducting one on one counseling sessions at his church office every Friday. The Ministry is growing more than any other in Zvishavane. Pastor Duncan has not just attracted ordinary people to his church but pastors from other ministries who are attending his services just to witness the hand of God at work. Three months ago, the Zvishavane UFIC Assembly had to open another branch at Makwasha because Kandodo was full to the brim. But in that short space of time Makwasha is also full to capacity and is spilling. A new pastor had to be sent from Harare to shepherd the Makwasha flock while Pastor Duncan continues with his Ministry work at Kandodo. Mary Phillips who is a member of the church said that she is seeing God through Apostle Duncan as all her children are doing well at school and her life has totally changed because of the prayers and advice she gets from the man of God during the services. "I thank God for the Moses of my generation; he is truly heaven sent. My child recently wrote Grade 7 exams and as she was writing the man of God prayed for her and she scored 5 units. Without him it would be something different," said Phillips.Nyasha Mhazo who is one of the leaders in the church said he is inspired by the standards set by Apostle Duncan. He said that Duncan was a role model, an advisor, a brother and a father. "My life is transformed, both spiritually and physically. I now realise that God has sent his servant to my life" Ganizani Ganizani also said that Duncan is a man of class with the best decor and state of the art Public address system. He added that the praise and worship team brings down heaven and when the man stands on the pulpit you feel like God is personally walking through his people. Apostle Duncan said that all that was happening was evidence that there is a God in heaven and only those who trust and believe in him can enjoy the fruits. "I want to thank the grace upon my father prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa for locating me and using me to deliver his people. In all we do we give all the glory and honour to God. I am simply a vessel that God has chosen to use in our Generation," said Apostle Duncan.Misheck Mangono who is a neigbour to Apostle Duncan and a member of Church of Christ described him as a humble man who has stood the test of time and has managed to remain calm and without blemish in a mining town which has all sorts of evil. Apostle Duncan was born in 1977 and is married to Rejoice Duncan and they have four children. He started pastoral work with AFM until he moved to UFIC Ministries. Pastor Duncan has become a source of hope for many people in and around Zvishavane. His influence has even stretched outside the borders of the Midlands Province. He plays tennis and goes fishing during his spare time
