Barmlo hands over house in Mberengwa

MBERENGWA- Zvishavane based Barmlo Construction has officially handed over a completed house to its beneficiary in Mberengwa which was built under the Rapid Build Core House scheme.
Kundai Shumba a former teacher at Mberengwa from Tafara Village, Clifton Farm in Mberengwa under Chief Mposi was full of joy after Barmlo general manager Talent Homero handed her the keys to the four roomed house.
“I am at a loss of words, many doubting Thomases thought I would fall prey to construction players but it wasn’t so I saved my money and approached Barmlo when they came to our school and we made an agreement for them to build a house for me which they have done,” said an elated Shumba.
Barmlo offers two schemes namely Rapid Build Core House where the beneficiary pays the company after every stage of the construction and the Easy Build Housing Scheme which is intended for low income earners in Mberengwa and other rural areas where the beneficiary pays half the amount of the house and the remainder after the house has been completed.
“We have built more than 30 houses in Mberengwa and the beneficiaries can testify to that,” said Hamero at the handover ceremony which was witnessed by tens of villagers.
