    TRIANGLE-
After winning their second major silverware in their sixth year in the Premiership, the 46 year old Triangle FC has come of age and can now be counted among the big boys of football in the country.
For 40 years, Triangle FC popularly known as the Sugar Sugar Boys by their legions of fans struggled to find their way into the top-flight league until 2012, thanks to the late Gishon “Lion” Ntini.
In their maiden season the Sugar Sugar Boys did not disappoint as they acquitted themselves well by finishing in the top eight of the Castle Lager Premiership under the guidance of Ntini.
Players like Norman Togara, Limited Chikafa andTawanda Muyendi were household names at the back pages of the country’s daily newspapers.
As there is always time for everything, it was now time-up for Ntini who found himself being replaced by former Dynamos midfield maestro Biggie Zuze in 2014.
Zuze went on to clinch the club’s first ever major silverware, NetOne’s One Wallet trophy which he won in the finals against his former team Dynamos FC in 2014.
Unfortunately Zuze did not last long as he was replaced by Zambian Kevin Kaindu who had just left former champions Highlanders FC in Bulawayo who was also replaced by former Dynamos son David Mandigora in 2016.
The two coaches only lasted for 731 days at the sugar giant Tongaat Hulett sponsored team.
In 2017 it was time for the former ZIFA technical director Taurai Mangwiro to inherit the hot seat who eventually ended the dry spell which had engulfed the Sugar Sugar Boys by scooping the coveted Chibuku Super Cup.
The Sugar Sugar Boys walloped holders Harare City 2-0 at their fortress, Gibbo Stadium to earn the right to represent the country in the CAF Confederations Cup.
Mangwiro was given a target to finish in the top four of the Premiership which he manged to do with easy as the team ended the season with 49 points.
The former Masvingo United and Harare City gaffer was also instrumental in guiding his two boys, Lameck Nhamo and  speed merchant Phineas Bhamusi in the Castle Lager Soccer first XI.
