    Mvuma councillor jailed 90 days for riding motorbike without a license

    MVUMA - Chirumhanzu Ward 22 councillor, David Windiza (48) has been sentenced to 90 days in prison for riding a motorbike without a licence and getting involved in an accident.
    Windiza of Mugurupira Village under Chief Chirumhanzu got an option to pay $150 fine when he appeared before Mvuma Resident Magistrate Tafadzwa Mhlanga.
    He had pleaded guilty to riding the motorbike without a license.
    It was the State case that on April 7 2018 around 4pm, Windiza was involved in an accident with a motorbike he was riding along the Bhoroma-Siyahokwe Road. He was asked by Police to produce a  license within seven days but he failed.
    It was discovered that he was not licensed to ride the motorbike, which led to his arrest.
    Michael Kazomba prosecuted.
