Mrambinda businessman seeks eviction order against daughter-in-law

MURAMBINDA – Prominent Murambinda businessman and former school head, Hosea Urayayi Mudzingwa is seeking an order to evict his daughter-in-law from his homestead following the death of his son.
Gladys Magunda is in turn insisting that she will not leave the homestead until she is compensated for certain properties and building structures she put up together with her late husband.
Magunda says she can only leave her father-in-law’s homestead after she is given 4 000 bricks and three bags of cement that she used to built a structure at the homestead.
Mudzingwa argues in his papers that since Magunda’s husband is late, there is nothing for her at the homestead anymore. He also argues that Magunda’s husband was unemployed and the couple was living on his resources.
The matter which is before Dennis Mangosi continues at a date that is yet to be set.
