    GZU Team Fusion releases 2nd album

    Great Zimbabwe University (GZU) contemporary music outfit, Team Fusion has released scorcher of an album, Chingoma which is loaded with eight educative, danceable and modern songs.
    This is Team Fusion’s second album since its formation in 2015, their first project called Dangwe was well received and was quite hit especially in Masvingo where it was played at parties and public gatherings.
    The first track on Chingoma, Ndirege Ndifare talks about happiness followed by the title track Chingoma which talks about the album and the good message contained, Ndiwe talks about appreciating who you are, Bho Zvekuti a ghetto statement tells the people that everything is fine.
    Amai is a song appreciating mothers especially single mothers, Ghost Man talks about boyfriends who do not take care of their girlfriends, Maziva Ndadzoka is a dedication to a late  band member Tatenda Shunyai who passed on last year and Chete is  a love song talking about men who lose their wives to other men after going outside the country looking for greener pastures.
    The group has already done videos for the first five tracks.
    Team Fusion is a nine member group led by a GZU Musicology lecturer Shadrick Dzingai A.K.A SEHSHADY and Julia Yule a Film and Theatre lecturer, Daniel Chandimhara, Chipo Nyambiya, Isaac Matambo, Fiona Kaseke, Ruvimbo Pangwai, Nyasha Warinda, Allen Mubika, Pride Chipuriro, Munashe Zhira.
     “I would like to thank the institution for the support they are giving us by funding the group and giving us opportunities,” said Dzingai.
    Team Fusion performed in Malawi last month at the highly regarded Lake Malawi Festival and one of the members Chipo Nyambiya went to perform in America in July, in Zimbabwe they performed at several shows.
    The album was recorded at Munya and Tait Vialy Studios in Harare while the videos were shot in Masvingo and edited in Harare by Slimas Productions.
