    Dawnville Construction scoops Megafest small businesses award

    MASVINGO-Diversified construction company, Dawnville Construction (Pvt) Ltd came out second at the inaugural Megafest Masvingo Business Awards in the Small Business of the Year category for 2018.
    The company received the award at a colourful ceremony held at Great Zimbabwe Hotel recently where captains of industry from in and around Masvingo converged to witness the event.
    Dr Tinashe Manzungu of TM Holdings based in Gweru was the guest of honour while Dr Tafadzwa Matsika, Megafest CEO, Mercy Matsika, Megafest chief operations officer and Vitalis Shonhai Masvingo City Council chamber secretary also attended the ceremony.
     “As a growing organisation we are very excited to receive this recognition from Megafest Holdings, it gives us encouragement to do better and become one of the biggest players in the construction industry,” said Wellington Mawende the managing director for Dawnville.
      Dawnville Construction was incorporated in 2015 and ever since has grown in leaps and bounces from a small company concentrating in borehole drilling and has now ventured into housing and schools construction in rural and urban areas.
    The company has built some of the model houses in the Remainder of Victoria Ranch area and has been involved in the drilling of boreholes and construction of classroom blocks especially in Bikita district.
    “Our vision is to become the most sought after construction companies in the region as witnessed by our world class standard of work. We pride ourselves in innovation, hard work and reliability,” said Mawende.
