Teacher loses cash, cellphone to robbers

BEATRICE - A 21-year-old teacher from Chitubu Learning Institute in Tynwald South Harare lost cash and property worth $600 to robbers who waylaid him on his way from a bar last Saturday night.
The six robbers who then assaulted Albert Musiiwa are still at large.
Mashonaland East Police spokesperson Inspector Tendai Mwanza could not be reached for comment.
However, The Mirror is reliably informed that Musiiwa was on his way home using a foot path after taking beer in a bar at Beatrice Location shops, when six men approached him and demanded cash from him.
They then kicked him and he fell down.
They took his Samsung cell phone and a bank card. They demanded the pin numbers for the EcoCash line and the bankcard which had $263 and $87 respectively.
The robbers then assaulted him and fled from the scene.
