    Suspended CSFAZ administrator reinstated

CHIREDZI – Commercial Sugarcane Farmers Association of Zimbabwe (CSFAZ) administrator Jairos Masiye who was on suspension on four charges of misconduct and negligent of duty has been reinstated.
Masiye was reinstated on September 3 following a hearing conducted by a four-member disciplinary committee put together by the association.
Masiye was suspended in July 2018 by the association chairman Admore Hwarare.
Masiye was accused of sabotaging the association, failing to organise a meeting with Vice President Constantino Chiwenga, failing to make a single sugarcane research and unlawfully borrowing money without approval.
The chairperson of the disciplinary committee Julius Changamire confirmed the development and said Masiye was going back to work with immediate effect.
The committee found out that Masiye had been suspended for not performing roles that are not in his job description.
"I can confirm that the disciplinary committee which investigated the administrator found him not guilty of all the charges leveled against him. It must be a case of issues between him and the association chairman which caused the suspension. Masiye clearly outlined his roles; there are no political duties in his job description. He is now back at work," said Changamire.
Efforts to get a comment from Masiye were fruitless.
