MASVINGO – Farai Matende (28), a student at the Great Zimbabwe University has published three books which talk about relationships entitled Courtship and Marriage, Life lessons from animals and The plan in God's mind.
Matende who is doing an Honours degree in Human Resources Management at GZU is passionate about relationships and this prompted him to put pen to paper and share his thoughts.
The purpose of the book 'Life lessons from animals' is to borrow valuable life lessons that humans can learn from the animal kingdom.
In the book Courtship and Marriage Matende takes his time to reveal the secrets of every strong and successful relationship. This  book is for those who are not in relationships, those who are dating and those who are about to get married.
The Plan in God's Mind is more like a spiritual book which reveals the divine plans to save humanity and the need to discover our Kingdom purposes.
Matende revealed that writing books has always been his dream and he is delighted about it and his readers should expect more titles.
The budding writer also added that he loves writing books as a way of motivating and sometimes he holds seminars where he inspires people.
"I am glad that I finally have my books published. I take that as a reflection of my life and I believe it will inspire a lot of other young people to rise and achieve what they want in their own lives", said Matende.
Matende applauded his spiritual father and mentor Prophet Walter Magaya of Prophetic Healing and Deliverance Ministries for unlocking his authorship gift and being a source of inspiration.
Born and bred in Chimanimani, Matende did his primary education at Nemaramba Primary School. He then did his secondary education at Rimbi High School in Chipinge up to A level.
