    Fwd: Madhuku leaves Pamushana High

    Emmanuel Zingoni

BIKITA - Johnson Madhuku who was elected MP for Bikita East in the July 30 2018 elections has bade farewell to Pamushana High School where he has been head for  27 years.
Madhuku leaves the school with a rather tainted image after the Zimbabwe Schools Examination Council withdrew external results for a number of subjects for the November 2017 O level examinations on suspicion of cheating by students and teachers.
It is understood that the results were released after some time.
Although Madhuku made a big name in sports for Pamushana, his brand was also dented by an ugly standoff between him and the late Reverend Zvenyika, then the late Station Superintendent for Pamushana who eventually committed suicide.
Pamushana Station Superintendent Reverend Munenerwa confirmed Madhuku's departure and thanked him for putting the name of the school on the map.
He said that Emmanuel Zingoni, the current substantive deputy headmaster at the Reformed Church-run school is now the acting head.
"Mr Zingoni is now the acting headmaster for the school until the church comes up with a new head.
"As a school we are supposed to work hard to maintain the standards which were set by Madhuku. We will organise a farewell for him but that will come from the education secretary.
