    Another silverware for FC Platinum!

ZVISHAVANE – Red hot 2017 Castle Lager Premiership Champions FC Platinum are set to bag another silverware this Saturday at their fortress, Mandava Stadium when they lock horns with Chibuku Super Cup Champions Harare City FC in the Castle Lager Challenge Cup.
Speaking to The Mirror Pure Platinum Coach Norman "Muchinawamajuzi" Mapeza said although Harare City is a difficult side in cup games he promised that they will fight to the bitter end to win another trophy this season.
"We are facing a tricky side but for the benefit of our fans who are still in celebratory mood, we hope to win the match and add more joy to the community. But as you know in football you have to expect any result but what is important is to stick to your game plans in order to win," said Mapeza who bagged his second Premiership trophy.
The Castle Lager Challenge Cup was introduced to celebrate the PSL's 25th anniversary and the winners of the match will pocket $30 000 while the losers get $20 000.
The Moneybags are likely to take use of home advantage to win the trophy as they face Division One bound Harare FC.
Although Harare City has won the Chibuku Super Cup twice they have not beaten FC Platinum before in a Cup game and the last time they met in a final the Sunshine Boys were betaen 3-1 in a penalty shootout.
Harare City Chairman Alois Masepe said although his side have been relegated it is not automatic that they will lose the match.
"We are going to find solace in winning the Cup after being relegated. We are going to derail our opponents' plans and take the silverware home," he said.
