    Masvingo CAPS Utd supporters launch chapter


    MASVINGO-Supporters of the third biggest club in the country, CAPS Utd aka Makepekepe have launched a chapter in Masvingo for easy coordination during travel to matches and mobilization of resources for the club were neccesssary among other functions.
    The chapter was launched at a colourful function held at Masvingo Sports Club which was attended by over 200 supporters where Pinias Buwa was elected chairman last week on Saturday.
    The elections were presided over by veteran soccer administrator Masvingo Province ZIFA chairman, Nabioth Magwizi.
    "It is a blessing that you have decided to come together as a family and I would like to urge you to give your maximum support to the leadership you have selected today, you are in the right direction and this will go a long way in developing the game of football in the province,. I would like to encourage you to desist from violence when your team fails to win as this will result in the team being penalized and football would be the biggest loser," Said Magwizi after the elections.
    The other members who were elected are; Nelson Chakanakira vice chairperson, Elias Dhliwayo secretary general, Memory Siziva vice, Moses Mavhuza treasurer, Farai Chatikobo organizing secretary, Chikara James information and publicity and Privilege Muvhumwa committee member.
    Masvingo becomes the fifth City to have a supporters' chapter after Harare, Gwanda, Gweru and Mutare.
