CHIREDZI – Chiredzi Town's first prostitute, Molly has suddenly generated interest in the small sugarcane town.
Murdered by a boyfriend in 1963, Council recently named a street after her. This week a Trust came forward and submitted to full council that it wanted to shoot a film on the murdered woman and the objective is to draw lessons for the young from the sex worker's life.
Speaking during a full council meeting on Monday Pamberi Trust Executive Director Peter Churu said his organisation was touched by the idea of Chiredzi Town Council naming a street after a prominent prostitute. local news
