Murambinda forex dealer in court for bedding married woman

MURAMBINDA - Shame Chamusingarevi a well known forex dealer at Murambinda Growth Point has been dragged to court by a man who accuses him of bedding his wife.
Chamusingarevi is alleged to have had an adulterous relationship with Keretia Mafa who is married to Justice Mpofu Mavhurere.
The court heard that Chamusingarevi who is being represented by Tafara Nsingo from Nsingo and Associates paid $700 through Ecocash to Mavhurere for the crime but is now saying in court that he paid that money under duress.
He claims that he paid the money because Mavhurere would come to his place of residence and make noise, disturbing the peace of his family.
Chamusingarevi stays at stand number 1815 at Murambinda Growth Point and Mavhurere and his wife stay at house number 218.
The allegations are that Chamusingarevi was in an adulterous affair with Mafa and had sexual intercourse with her on several occasions.
He admitted to the affair and paid $700 through Ecocash on Mavhurere's account.
However, he now says he never at any time had an adulterous relationship with Mafa and needed proof of such relationship if it ever existed. He says he indeed sent $700 to Mavhurere through an Ecocash transaction but this was only done out of undue influence and duress.
Nsingo argued that Mavhurere brought the matter to the wrong court as his marriage is not registered under any general law and was in actual fact a customary law marriage.
The matter will continue on July 18 2017.
