    2 more arrested over Mujingwe Conservancy

    MWENEZI – Police has arrested two more suspects linked to the illegal Mujingwe Conservancy invasion who were on the run.
    The two were arrested in separate incidents in Rutenga and Maranda.   
    The arrest of Isaac Ndlovu (40) of village Situpa and Goliath Tawedzerwa Chinave (40) of village Majirija brings the number of villagers locked up over the case to 13. 
    Some of the villagers who are already locked up in remand prison are Antony Hope (34), Noel Nsingo (35), Anthony Zhou (28), Effort Zhou (21), Mercious Dhlamini (20), Reason Ncube (34),  Abias Zhou (35), Roseman Gumbo (48), Tavonga Siziba (23), Alfios Zhou (22), and Edison Maranganya (45) all under chief Mazetese.
    They are all accused of malicious damage to property and deforestation after they allegedly invaded the animal park and allocated pieces of land to each other. 
    Two of the suspects who appeared in court last week were remanded in prison. 
    The villagers have been fighting National Parks which they accuse of trying to wrestle away the conservancy and hand it over to a private player.
