ZVISHAVANE - Zvishavane based and one of Zimbabwe's top coaches Luke Masomere's property including a Toyota Avensis have gone under the hammer after his lawyer successfully sued him for a debt.
Masomere owed his lawyer Tichaona Chivasa $1 349 after he was represented in a legal case.
Masomere had a wrangle with Chivasa since last year over legal fees he owed the later. Chivasa represented the coach in a case against Shabani Mashaba Mines (SMM) Holdings management who wanted to evict him from the mine house that he occupied when he was still Shabani Mine FC coach.
Masomere engaged Chivasa of Chivasa and Associates to stop the eviction that he termed illegal.
    Masomere won his case.
Masomere was then supposed to pay Chivasa a balance of $1 349 as legal fees but failed and this saw Chivasa suing his client.
In his founding affidavit Masomere accused the lawyer of trying to defraud him. However, Chivasa won the case.
Masomere's vehicle was auctioned for $2950.
