MASVINGO – Microfinance firm, Lic Finance Private Limited is expanding its operations by establishing new branches in various parts of the country.
The firm currently has six branches in Masvingo, Harare, Mutare, Chiredzi, Chitungwiza and Gweru and the Masvingo branch recently moved from Leopold Takawira Avenue to a more spacious place in Robertson Street.
Sales and Marketing Manager of Lic Finance Paddington Japajapa said his firm does not want to lend money to people and leave them poorer. He said the focus of his company is to issue out loans so that people can develop themselves. He said his company is set to establish branches in all corners of the country.
"Our main objective as a company is to create wealth. We want to see higher standards of living in the country.
"Apart from loans for business projects we also offer short term loans for basic home upkeep. We do pre-counselling to customers to advice them on making wise borrowings," said Japajapa.
