Pevimag Contractors, a wholly owned Zimbabwe construction company has gained fame in the accomplishment of both small and big projects.
The company is also particularly strong in Public, Private Partnerships (PPP's). In this arrangement the project cost is determined and then Pevimag uses its own resources to do the job while the client comes up with a payment plan.
Pevimag which is found at number 26 Clyde Road in Eastlea Harare handles projects all over the country and establishes site offices wherever they are contracted.
Established in April 1995 and incorporated under the Companies Act (Chapter 190) on May 17, 1995, Pevimag has many projects in its portfolio.
Pevimag has successfully completed projects across the country for the likes of Delta, Econet, Zimra, Telecel, and Netone to mention but a few. Recently they constructed State of the art girl's hostels for Bondolfi Teachers College for $1.8 million and Mukaro Girls High for $ 1.8 million which was a PPP arrangement.
Pevimag Contractors boasts of highly qualified technical personnel between them who are capable of handling any project of any magnitude.
The company's Managing Director, Peter Majengwa has a wealth of experience having worked for the Ministry of Local Government and National Housing for seven years as design engineer for various projects. He later joined the private sector where he worked for reputable companies and gained invaluable experience as a Site Agent to Contracts Manager.
Majengwa became a founding director of Pevimag in 1995.
Pevimag is open to joint ventures with other local or international companies who share the same values and vision and whose synergies enable projects to be effectively handled.
Majengwa is ably assisted by other Senior Managers for Pevimag who are Farazeka Pakamisa (Operations), Liberty T Mutsikwi (Quantity Surveying and Estimations), and Tinashe Mumbengegwi (Finance and Administration). Nelson Samuriwo (Junior Quantity Surveyor), Persuade Chipindu (Junior Operations Manager) and Cosmas Pise (Transport and Mechanical Manager) complement the team
Pevimag is involved in both civil and structural engineering work. Some of the work it does in civil engineering include water reticulation, sewerage reticulation, roads and storm water drainage, borehole drilling, mining etc.
In structuring engineering Pevimag offers services like telecommunication services, water retaining structures, bridges, renovations and Buildings etc.
