MURAMBINDA – World Vision manager at Murambinda Growth Point in Buhera, Partricia Mubvumi was kidnapped, severely attacked and injured by robbers wearing masks who invaded her home just after midnight on Thursday.
The robbers escaped with her Toyota Hilux which was found dumped in Gutu.
The robbers entered her bedroom and demanded that she take them to her office and give them cash. When she refused, they kidnapped her and dumped her blindfolded, with hands tied at the back at Matimba Business Center which is 20km from her home. A security guard at her place, Tinashe Rupapa is admitted at Murambinda General Hospital after suffering serious injuries.
Efforts to get a comment from Manicaland Police spokesperson were fruitless.
Both Mubvumi and Rupapa confirmed the incident. Rupapa said the four robbers severely hit him on the head and the rest of his body using a shovel and garden fork and he had to run and hide in a blair toilet.

The robbers then entered in her room where they asked for money and wanted her to take them to her office but she refused.
