MASVINGO – Fast growing entertainment joint, Caravan Park is set to host a family show on Saturday with a difference as it will be blended with charity work.
The show will start with family entertainment being provided by gospel household names Fungisai Zvakavapano and Kudzi Nyakudya and in attendance will be children from Alpha Cottages orphanage home.
"We will invite 10 elders from Mucheke Old People's Home and 10 children from Alpha Cottages to come and spend the day having fun with others. This will enable them to have a feel of what they miss when they are confined to their respective homes.
We are doing this as part of our social corporate responsibility and in future we want to make it a regular thing," said Fortune Ngarande the marketing manager for the entertainment joint.
The show is being held under the theme; 'Preserving The Family Unit'
"We have chosen this theme because of the dis-integration of the family due to the migration in search of greener pastures outside the country where children are left alone, so we are trying to feel that gap," said Ngarande.
The show will spill into the night with Peter 'Young Igwe' Moyo being the main attaraction, Freeman, songtress Amara Brown, GZU Team Fusion and popular Masvingo disc jockey Kauleza. entertainment news
