Robbers steal laptop from Mujuru spokesperson’s car

HARARE - National People's Party spokesman Jealousy Mawarire has lost a laptop and other valuables to robbers who broke into his Mercedes Benz E Class while he attended a meeting at Shamwari Restaurant in Belgravia, Harare on Tuesday last week.
The matter was reported to Avondale Police station under RRB 3112337.
The robbers allegedly broke the back passenger window of the car and took away an iPhone worth $300 and Samsung laptop worth $600.
"The robbers took my laptop, phone chargers and my iPhone but they dumped the bag and the iPhone and made away with other items," said a distraught Mawarire.
This reporter bumped into the information after he tried to phone Mawarire and the person on the other end said he had just picked the phone.
"I picked up this phone please find means of alerting the owner," said the Good Samaritan.
Later in the day Mawarire managed to recover his phone but could not find the laptop and phone chargers.crime news
