Zanu PF gets eviction order from Gweru offices

GWERU – Zanu PF Midlands Province has been given an eviction notice from their Development House offices in Gweru after the building was procured by ZRP.
The position was revealled by Midlands Province Vice Chairman Manoki Mpofu during the party's first Provincial Co-ordinating Committee meeting (PCC) for 2017 held at Winery along Mvuma Road over the weekend.
"I want to inform you that we have been evicted from our party offices at Development House and an eviction order has been issued in favour of ZRP which is the new owner of the building," said Mpofu.
Concern was also expressed at the meeting that the party has a lot of debts amounting to $469 020 including salary backlogs for staff.
"We had been offered offices for $165 000 but our biggest challenge is on debts amounting to $469 020," said John Holder who is the party's Provincial Treasurer.
He added that the party owes PTC $17 814, salaries backlog $14 497 and rentals $15 575.news
