The school had just acquired a new bus at a cost of $175 000 and was constructing a 2,4kmkm security wall around the school and refurbishing all buildings.
"I am pleased to note that the school has embarked on major rehabilitation programme. This includes the provision of furniture to all classes, the fitting of 60 new doors to all classrooms, the purchase of 60 dustless chalkboards and new refrigerators and stoves for the Home Economics Department.
'The rehabilitation of Fort and Tower hostels that had been of major concern to parents and officials from the health department has been completed. This included the replacement of tubs with showers, repairing window frames and panes, the fitting of new screen doors and construction of the 2.4km security wall to improve the security and discipline of pupils.
'In the same spirit of achieving excellence, the school has purchased a new state of the art Golden Dragon bus to augment the old bus and truck," said Mavima.
The school head John Muzamani said that the refurbishments will cost in excess of $150 000 while the bus which was bought from China will be delivered in a week`s time.
