-The MP for Chikomba Central, Felix Tapiwa Mhona has embarked on a massive reconstruction program in his constituency where he is repairing dip tanks, small bridges and building new foot bridges.
He is also constructing a mortuary at Nharira Hospital among many development
projects in his area. Mhona will also be involved in the construction of a primary school named Chitunhu in Dhuvhurwi Ward 19. He has sourced several hundreds
of bags of cement to distribute to the various wards towards the construction
    program.
Mhona confirmed the developments in a telephone interview with The Mirror. Mhona said he would construct a Police post at Masasa Ward 17 and has since purchased the bricks for the purpose. Police is offering labor towards
the construction. He said he has already started constructing Kurebwaseka Dip Tank in Ward 20,Gokomere which is about to be completed and has been constructing Chigwamura Dip Tank in Ward 23 Manyanga.
He has set aside bags of cement for the repair of small bridges in the 10
wards in Chikomba Central. He said he is also working towards the construction of a mortuary at Nharira Hospital and 50 bags of cement would be delivered to be
used for the conversion of an existing structure into a mortuary.
He said he was motivated to construct the mortuary due to the increasing
death rate witnessed along Harare- Beightbridge Highway. This has seen the district's main hospital Chivhu General failing to cope with the corpses.
He added that there was also need to reduce costs for people in the constituency
who travel long distances to Chivhu for such services.
