    - A 61-year-old man from Shurugwi has lost his eye-sight two years after he was attacked by vicious dogs.
The Mirror understands that the matter may appear in court soon but it is not clear whether Simon Banda from Makusha Suburbs is claiming damages or is pressing criminal charges against the owner.
The allegations are that Banda was attacked by vicious dogs in Shurugwi town and these dogs belonged to a supermarket manager (name supplied) who had let them free.
Banda has gradually deteriorated in health since the attack to the extent that apart from losing sight he is cannot actively work for himself.
The supermarket manager allegedly allowed his three vicious dogs to roam free in the town at night and Banda was walking back home from work.
Banda walked past the supermarket not knowing that the manager's dogs were out. As he passed near the shop on foot the dogs immediately attacked him and seriously injured him all over the body.
