    – Two Morgenster High School students in Masvingo Rural who got 13 points apiece are among 50 Zimbabwean students who have been granted Presidential scholarships to study in China.
Weje Mataka and Tawanda Mugabe left the country on August 30, 2016 to join Ocean University where they are going to embark on four-year programmes in Business Administration and International Economics and Trade respectively.
An elated Stephen Chikwiro, the head at Morgenster confirmed the development in an interview with The Mirror.
The two students were part of the Morgenster 2014 Upper Sixth class.
"It's a great honour for us to have students from our school being considered for such highly esteemed awards. We are small compared to many schools around the province.
"I want to thank the President for introducing such a program that helps students get higher education and recognition for their excellent work," said Chikwiro.
Mataka was studying Business Studies, Economics and Geography at 'A' Level while Mugabe took Accounting, Business studies and Economics.
