    Mimosa Platinum rewards long serving workers

    – One hundred and seventy three workers were honoured for the long service at Mimosa Mining Company on Thursday last week.
    This is the 12th long service award ceremony by the company.
    Attending the ceremony were Mimosa mine executive chairman, Winston Chitando, Former Midlands Governor Cephas Msipa, Chief Mapanzure and Zvishavane Ngezi MP, John Holder.
    In addition other workers were honoured for outstanding work in different sections of the mine.
    The awards were given to workers who have been with the company for 20, 15 and 10 years and there were best workers for departments and the overall worker of the year.
    Out of the 173 honoured workers, 64 served for 10 years, 15 workers 20 years and 20 for serving the company for 15 years.
    "We are not only honouring you for your contributions during the years gone by but we are celebrating the loyalty and commitment demonstrated by team Mimosa as well as rewarding superior performance by our employees," said Chitambo
    He also said that at Mimosa workers were the anchor of the company business and success hence the reason why the company takes time to celebrate the immense effort that each member put in ensuring that the mine remains a great organization.
