    - Chief Gutu, Edmund Masanganise is appealing for donations in the form of reinforcement steel and cement to repair a small dam that was washed away by the rains at Berryspring Farm in Tatoraivhu Resettlement area some 8km from Mpandawana Growth Point.
"I am appealing for help from well wishers to assist us with the necessary material to repair this dam which is a critical source of water for the villagers," said Chief Gutu.
The part that was destroyed by the rains is four metres high and 20 metres long. The dam wall collapsed in 2007 and this affected the dam's water level used for irrigation and livestock drinking.
The dam is set to benefit Village 24, Chidakwe area and Berryspring.
The villagers have already raised 50 bags of cement amongst themselves.
"The community managed to raise 50 bags of cement," said Chief Gutu.
