Some 402 students have graduated from Morgenster Teachers' College near Masvingo and this is the institute's 31st graduation ceremony.
The graduation last Thursday was held under the theme 'Unpacking Excellence through the implementation of STEM in teacher Education'.
Among the 402 graduates, 343 were graduating in the General Course while 59 were in the Early Childhood Development (ECD). The Minister of Higher and Tertiary Education, Science and Technology Development, Professor Jonathan Moyo graced the graduation ceremony.
Vice Chancellors from the University of Zimbabwe, Professor Levi Martin Nyagura, Great Zimbabwe University, Professor Rungano Zvobgo and Reformed Church University, Professor Wiseman Magwa witnessed the event.
Speaking at the graduation ceremony Professor Moyo congratulated the graduates for the achievement in their education.
"Let me congratulate Morgenster Teachers' College and especially the Reformed Church in Zimbabwe for the unwavering and sterling work in producing primary school teachers in Zimbabwe. Go out there and be the professionals you have been trained to be," he said.
 He also said that it is the oldest tertiary institution in the country established in 1902 and some of Zimbabwee's illustrious children went through the institution.
Professor Moyo gave an appraisal of the college and said that Morgenster is a pioneering tertiary institution in the administration of the T4 teacher's programme.
He further said that Morgenster has established the Care Giver Infant Toddler programme for ECD students and opened ECD centres for the less privileged at Mutimurefu Prison, Alpha Cottages and other rural areas.
The College Principal, Raviro Chipato congratulated the graduands for the success in their academic pursuit.
