    Bikita man fined $100 for driving without license

    BIKITA
    - Tinei Mudzviti (22) who resides at Gomba garage, Nyika growth point in Bikita was slapped with a $100 fine for driving without a license after he bumped into a minor.
    Magistrate Caroline Tafira gave him an alternative sentence of three months in prison in the event he fails to pay the required fine.
    It is the state's case that on May 27, 2016 at around 1500hrs the accused drove a Honda fit registration number ADU 1221 at Nyika Growth Point with one passenger on board. Upon reaching Nyika rank near Mutendi Investments, the accused saw two juveniles chasing each other. The accused stopped the car and a female juvenile aged four (name held) bumbed on the vehicle and sustained minor injuries.
    Police attended the scene and discovered that the accused was not a holder of a driver's license leading to his arrest.
