    Chinese pays $100 bail for working without permit

    A Chinese man (41) has appeared before Magistrate Chengetai Nago after he was found working at Gransharp Enterprises, a Kwekwe-based company without a valid work permit.
    Zeng Xianhui who resides at Gransharp Enterprise Kwekwe was found working at Gransharp Enterprise without permit.
    The court heard that on July 16, 2016 officers from Zimbabwe Immigration  who were acting  on a tip-off  to the effect that some Chinese  nationals were working at Granship Enterprise Plant without  valid work permits paid a visit to the premises.
    The immigration officers observed that the accused person was fitting a floatation machine which was being mounted in the plant. They requested the site manager to produce passports of all the foreigners who were working in the plant and they found that the accused person was a holder of a Visitors' Entry Certificate which does not allow him to work whilst in Zimbabwe resulting in him being arrested.
    The accused person was granted $100 bail and will appear again in court on August 1, 2016.
