    Chibi High crowned NASH volleyball champions, three times in a row

    GWANDA
    - Chibi High School U17 girls volleyball team has retained the National Association of Secondary Heads for third consecutive time after thrashing Mpopoma High 3-1 at Manama High School in Gwanda recently.
    To get to the finals Chibi dismissed Mahusekwa of Mashonaland West 2-0 in the semi-finals. For their efforts Chibi High walked away $375 richer.
      Chibi headmaster Bonface Machingauta paid tribute to the coaches and applauded the team for its sterling performance at the tournament.
     "I am very excited by the girls' performance at the national finals, they made us proud. I also thank the coaches for their efforts in ensuring that we retain the trophy for the third time in a row," said Machingauta who could not hide his joy.
    Zvikomborero Machikiche (best setter), Dephine Mhoya (most valuable player) and Tendai Charimengwe (best blocker) were adjudged the best performers and walked away with some monetary rewards. They were also selected into the team that will represent Zimbabwe at the Confederation of Schools Sport Association of Southern Africa (COSASSA) in Namibia in August this year.
