Juju scam rocks former Triangle player

    – A former Triangle FC player who moved to join Zvishavane based FC Platinum is alleged to have used juju to secure the move as well as play well during the 2015 season while at Triangle.
The player Hillary Bakacheza who was named among soccer stars of the year in 2015, is said to have enlisted the services of a Chiredzi based sangoma but later failed to pay the sangoma resulting in bad form at his current club.
In the text messages Bakacheza says please can you look for Sekuru Banda since things are not working for me here, l am not scoring and he should do what he used to do to me since l don't want to look for another person.
According to text messages leaked by one of his former friends who used to link him with a  sangoma known as Sekuru Banda, Bakacheza tracked back to Chiredzi this month in search of the sangoma as things looks unsettled at his new base.
The sangoma later visited Zvishavane in a bid to sort out the issues. When contacted for comment over the issue Bakacheza could neither confirm nor deny the juju allegations but said talent is from God and said the source who leaked the issue knows everything about the issue before he hung his phone.
"Ahhhhhh hooooo things are tight but talent is from God. Go back to the person who told you that and that person knows everything about the juju issue. Please leave me alone and talk to those people but you should know that I dont know a lot of traditional healers or herbalists as you allege" said Bakacheza.
The Mirror crew called Sekuru Banda and acted if they need to be assisted with juju. The sangoma confirmed that he is the one who gave Bakacheza juju to prosper in his football career as well as facilitating his move to FC Platinum. He said he can make things happen with variety of juju he have.
"Yes I am the one who give Bakacheza assistance for him to do well in his career. That does not take time if you need assistance, can you come to Chiredzi and with God everything is possible.
"We can even assist you to get promotion at work. I work with many people and that one is a good example of my good work" said Sekuru Banda.
There has been a lot of talk that footballers use juju and the use varies from individual player to team use, from coaches to the whole club or a combination of all.
This is mostly done secretly although at times it is done publicly in the field of play.
