    – Centre for Cultural Development Initiatives (Gaza Trust) who are the organisers of the Great Limpopo Cultural Fair have announced said that this year's edition will be held in a rural setup where participants will interact with cultural activities.
The venue is Mhlanguleni in Chikombedzi  and the Fair will be held on a date to be announced.
Speaking at a stakeholders meeting held at Council boardroom last Thursday, CCDI director, Hebert Pikela said his organisation's mission is to use culture as a tool for development.
He said to achieve that, the 2016 festival should be different from the previous three editions and one of the differences is that it will be held in a rural set up where people will interact with all cultural activities.
"Our proposed theme for 2016 is Women, Culture and Development and this year we want people to learn more about our culture so the fair will be taken to a rural setup where people will have a feel of our culture,'' said Pikela.
Professor Habert Chimhundu of Chinhoyi University said Great Limpopo Cultura Fair should not be only active during the days of the fair but it should be continue to be visible throughout the year. Professor Chimhundu also said there should be a marketing team which works round the clock to make the fair known.
The stakeholders meeting was attended by officials from Chiredzi Rural District Council, Parks and Wildlife Managenemt Authority, Zimbabwe Toursim Authority, National Museums and Monuments, Tongaat Hullet and many other stakeholders.
