    34 illegal Ethiopian immigrants caught in Chivhu

    – Some 34 Ethiopian illegal immigrants were caught at Vergnougue Farm in Chivhu.
    The illegal immigrants are men aged between 16 and 28.
    They appeared before Chivhu Resident Magistrate Denis Mangosi on Wednesday facing charges of entering the country without travelling documents.
    The Chivhu Magistrate court is yet to secure an interpreter from the Embassy for the trial to begin.
    It is the sate case that on March 29 around eight o'clock in the morning, a report was made at Chivhu police station that there were some foreign men hiding at Vergnogue Farm.
    The police made a follow up and apprehended the men.
    The men are remanded in custody. The matter was remanded to   April 27 2016.
